I have been modelling 1/76th for many years and hope you find my kits and wargaming interesting and an enjoyable surf!
Bear with me as i get my camera abilities better.

My kits are a mixture of plastic injection, resin and white metal. plenty of local Australian resin kits but also venerable Airfix and Matchbox models too....

Mainly European WW2 which first started out with US forces, then onto UK and then a smattering of Russian- but i realised i had to have someone to compete against..... so along came the Axis kits..

Click on the pictures, they expand and provide better detail.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for all the positive comments

Sherman Crab

Finally some time to relax, take stock of the year and besdie being with my family....build some of the stock in the 'man cave'.
Airfix Sherman Crab- this is my second one.
Replaced the plastic chais with metal, new figure, canva mantle, stowage and bits and peices

  1. Droopy chains so much better than my "erect" ones

  2. yes- i bought the latest ospery book by Steve Zaloga on the Crab and there are some ripper shots in it. so very good to inspirate wen modelling.
some of the crabs had channels on the hull side to lie extra chains in- so thats whats modelelled on the RHS hull and i just whacked in dome cut off chains

Hi there, thankyou for reading my blog and i welcome your comments...david
