if you are a purist...then look away
these were never done in 3 color hard edge splinter.....but i wanted it to be late war color that i was doing a number of German tanks and vehicles
classic model and great on the board
the old Airfix rule book lets it move nearly 80cms a turn
Well, I like it. I am just getting back into WWII plastic soldiers after fourty years and am amazed to see the old kits still going - as well as some new ones. great stuff.

Very nice
ReplyDeleteI have two of these cats that have been staring at me for the better part of a decade!
I must do them!
thanks gents
ReplyDeleteI went to an auction about 10 years ago and bought over 100 kits for not a lot of money- all Matchbox, nitto and fujimi
most have been made but still have 4 more Pumas to build and also at least 6 humber scout cars....
john- the old kits are still around and there are plenty of people who still buy them and one can make a reasonable model out of them- its either that or paying HUGE moeny for resin ones...which i also do
Nice P-cat! I have a couple of these to build as well, but have never thought that much more about it.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's time to get them out, let the rivet counters flume about the paint scheme!
thanks Paul
