Lets get early WW2.....
simple finish and nothing to add
classic plastic from the late 70's
i can remember the epithany i had when Matchbox released this generation of kits into the market
so cheap, so easy to build, so differant to what was in the market...
they were so good!!
I am in love! Great work.
ReplyDeletethanks Paul
ReplyDeleteits strange- they are such simple kits compared to the resin ones i do and i dont really take notice of these simple old Matchbox ones that i have
but they are such old favorites and i can remember being a lad in the 70's and being so excited that this NEW range had been released and helped add to the range of small scale stuff already on the market
Oh yeah, man o man nothing like being a kid in the 70's buiding Matchbox kits and listening to the Bay City Rollers on your am radio!
ReplyDeletemodel kits in 2 tone colors that come with bases....what a modern world we lived in!
ReplyDeleteliving in Australia i found it hard to find anything in a toy shop excpet Airfix and so when matchbox came out i went crazy buying heaps
then i discovered an actual model shop!! joy oh joy
