Welcome

I have been modelling 1/76th for many years and hope you find my kits and wargaming interesting and an enjoyable surf!
Bear with me as i get my camera abilities better.

My kits are a mixture of plastic injection, resin and white metal. plenty of local Australian resin kits but also venerable Airfix and Matchbox models too....

Mainly European WW2 which first started out with US forces, then onto UK and then a smattering of Russian- but i realised i had to have someone to compete against..... so along came the Axis kits..

Click on the pictures, they expand and provide better detail.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for all the positive comments

Famo under construction

Finally! Some time to myself and that means....."off to the man cave!"

Sensational model- brilliant to construct and superb detail

Bonnet sides have been left off and i have detailed the engine bay
can't wait to paint this big rig...

  1. hi Paul

    yes revell

so its going to be huge next to the 1/76th gear i have..but its a damn impressive kit

the grey around the bulk head is filler- its the only thing thats a bit sloppy in the build
and the bonnett /radiator link into it- so you got to get it right

i have a hankering to finish it the colors off the one that was pictured racing through Arnhem with a schimmwagen poking out the back- but it has tilts and they dont come in the kit...anythoughts anyone??

  2. Copper wire? this bends well and glues a treat with magic PVA, along with tissue paper could be a goer!!!

Famo good idea about the Arnhem project.

  3. thats great Paul
    thanks very much Paul
the copper wire is a ripper idea...

the only problem with the vehicle pictured retreating through Arnhem is that it had plenty of foliage over it as well....and i dont want to hide the detail of the model too much
will fudge through and have a crack anyway- i have a Scwimmwagen and motorcycle i can use in the back too....
