Welcome

I have been modelling 1/76th for many years and hope you find my kits and wargaming interesting and an enjoyable surf!
Bear with me as i get my camera abilities better.

My kits are a mixture of plastic injection, resin and white metal. plenty of local Australian resin kits but also venerable Airfix and Matchbox models too....

Mainly European WW2 which first started out with US forces, then onto UK and then a smattering of Russian- but i realised i had to have someone to compete against..... so along came the Axis kits..

Click on the pictures, they expand and provide better detail.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for all the positive comments

Germans in the Russian Walchow Forrest, 1942....

MG 34 on fixed mount- they will be firing longe range
End of a fire fight- next to the soliders feet is a Maxim on a wheeled trolley- note shield

Trucks and horse n carts  still

Panzer IV with infantry support and note the globular muzzle brake

Captured Ruski artillery

Relaxed and everything is open- cant be too close to the MLR
This one is interesting- WH on the left giving something to Russian prisoners and note the SS on the left with insect helmet cover as well as non standard SMG.

  3. Something about the bottom photo isn't right; looking at the cuffs on the 'German' soldiers and the SS man in the M1916 helmet and smart tunic,I think it may be a staged propaganda photo

  4. thanks S- when you look at it, they seem to be shaking hands actually and not passing things....i can imagine the propoganda from the spin masters
"Russian troops give thanks to German solders after being captured and releived to be away from Moscow's rule!!"

actually could the Ruskies be troops aligned to the Germans? romanians or Bulagians?
