Welcome

I have been modelling 1/76th for many years and hope you find my kits and wargaming interesting and an enjoyable surf!
Bear with me as i get my camera abilities better.

My kits are a mixture of plastic injection, resin and white metal. plenty of local Australian resin kits but also venerable Airfix and Matchbox models too....

Mainly European WW2 which first started out with US forces, then onto UK and then a smattering of Russian- but i realised i had to have someone to compete against..... so along came the Axis kits..

Click on the pictures, they expand and provide better detail.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for all the positive comments

Revell Kannone in all its Magnificence....

Amazing detail for something in 1/72nd scale
- some parts are quite small and delicate but its rather sturdy for the scale
Now all it needs is some paint- stay tuned for the next update- David.

  1. Mate, that looks really good. How long to assemble?

  2. thanks Paul

i built it part time over a week so my measurement isnt accurate

in a good sitting it would be finished in 2 evenings

the front boggies are very fiddly so need a lot of care- but once assembled are quite strong

  3. Oh and another thought...in a table battle it would be useless. takes too long to set up and its rate of fire is far too slow.

a couple of Nebelwafers would be much handier and heaps cheaper too!!

  4. Yep it would be fine for off table support. I think that it probably would take me twice as long, if I was lucky.

  5. That looks an incredibly detailed model!!! The boggies can be taken off and the gun set up as if for firing or is it an either transport build or firing position one?

  7. hi guys

yes the gun can be set up for firing or travel- unfortunately the kit doesnt come with men but its full of parts and many many many are very small

if set up for firing their are 3 big earth anchors that i havent used

the front bogey is attached by a single verticle pin- which never stays stuck given my all thumbs approach..so i glued it
