I have been modelling 1/76th for many years and hope you find my kits and wargaming interesting and an enjoyable surf!
Bear with me as i get my camera abilities better.

My kits are a mixture of plastic injection, resin and white metal. plenty of local Australian resin kits but also venerable Airfix and Matchbox models too....

Mainly European WW2 which first started out with US forces, then onto UK and then a smattering of Russian- but i realised i had to have someone to compete against..... so along came the Axis kits..

Click on the pictures, they expand and provide better detail.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for all the positive comments

More Magnificent Marders'...

!/76 Resin Marders- fairly bubbly kits with lots of small air bubbles that needed filing
no additions except a figure and some chain and bits!

  1. Nice looking kits, who make them?

  2. Gday Al- thanks for the positive comments.

From memory they are Milicast in the UK- but am not 100% sure
they may have been Ostmodels from Australia...
there are a number of resins no name producers here in Australia as well and i buy from a fair few differant suppliers.
    sorry to be so vague

  3. By jingo's you have some great kit mate, keep it up!

  4. Thanks David, I'm going to chase up one or two of these as I don't think they can be found in plastic yet?

  5. cheers Paul
    thanks for the support

alas its only building at the moment- the battles have stalled as the eldest son has dicovered girls!! he is going into that well known "modellers hiatis" which affects most males and sends us to another place where other interests take over!@!

i now have to battle the 10 year old and his grandfather at the moment
    - the problem there is the 10 year cant understand why the wheels dont roll .....and the grandfather just has continual flashbacks to him fghting the 'yellow hord' in korea!!

  6. Al

the Milicast website has images of there marder 3 and mine arent these- i think you will find the Milicast mush finer in detail than mine
i still have plenty of small air bubbles in mine also and that isnt a trademark Milicast either
if i do remember where i got mine i will let you know!!

  7. Thank you David, certainly appreciate you taking the time to reply.

  8. No problems

rules- when battling the "adolesent general"- we use the old old old Airfix rules that came out in the late 70's- still have some of the books!
then are pretty fast and quick and when you dont have much time- as always is the case in our house...its a fast quick game..

Hi there, thankyou for reading my blog and i welcome your comments...david
