WW2 Military Models - Small Scale German tanks and vehicles, American tanks and vehicles, British tanks and vehicles, Russian tanks and vehicles, Japanese tanks and vehicles
Welcome
I have been modelling 1/76th for many years and hope you find my kits and wargaming interesting and an enjoyable surf!
Bear with me as i get my camera abilities better.
My kits are a mixture of plastic injection, resin and white metal. plenty of local Australian resin kits but also venerable Airfix and Matchbox models too.... Mainly European WW2 which first started out with US forces, then onto UK and then a smattering of Russian- but i realised i had to have someone to compete against..... so along came the Axis kits..
Click on the pictures, they expand and provide better detail.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for all the positive comments

DD Sherman and M4 Arv
Milicast DD sherman and kit bashed recovery M4
the Arve is a Matchbox Firefly hull with 'bits' added
the Matchbox hull is miles too long and thin and out of scale - not my favourite the DD is a lovely resin kit albiet a little soft in the detail....
I used to think the Matchbox Firefly was pretty much spot on 1/76? It is supposed to be longer than your average Sherman because it is based on the longer M4A4 hull. Anyway, nice build"
Firefly- i suppose it seems longer to me due to the track guards. I hate the moulded- on 'everything' it - the detail is just too soft! However thats probably the same with the Airfix M4 too!
Most of my shermans end up with a lot of gear over them and plenty of bits and peices to make them look more interesting
very nice. :)
